Mini SD Card - The mini SD Card standard was adopted in the year 2003 by the SD association as an ultra-small extension to the SD card standard. Mini SD cards are mainly intended for use in portable devices such as digital cameras, mobile phones, audio players and so on. Currently they are mostly found in mid-level mobile phones. You can use an adaptor to fit a mini SD card into a general SD card slot. Another subtype of SD card is the micro SD which is smaller than the mini SD standard.
Advantage of Mini SD Card - Small Form Factor.
Disadvantage of Mini SD Card - Slow Data Transfer Speed.
