The mushaira held in memory of former Deputy Chief Minister K.V. Ranga Reddy on Sunday reflected the clamour for statehood.

How can Urdu poets remain untouched by the Telangana sentiment? Poetry is the art of uniting pleasure with truth and that is what it did the other day.

A mushaira sponsored on Sunday by Progressive Telangana Foundation in memory of former Deputy Chief Minister Konda Venkata Ranga Reddy was reflective of the strong Telangana sentiment. For a change, love and romance, the mainstay of mushairas, took a backseat. Most of the poets chose to give vent to the clamour for statehood for the region. As the sun went down, the open air auditorium at Lalita Kala Thoranam, came alive with T-shayari. The mushaira was inaugurated in the traditional style by lighting of the ‘shama'.

Young poet Saleem Abedi set the tone for the evening by reciting a Telangana Tarana.

Haq per nahin ghabrana Anjam hai dikhlana
Hai hud se guzarjana
Pana hai hamen pana
Hamara Telangana

(When the cause is right there's no need to be afraid. We have to go all out to gain Telangana)

Then a budding poet from Manchariyal, Khursheed Asar, electrified the audience with his verses.

Madam ko manayenge, Telangana layenge
Dena pada jaan to jaan bhi gawan denge
Andhra ke leadero, Andhra sambhalo tum
Apne Telangana ko khud hum hi sambhalenge

(Will persuade Soniaji to get Telangana, even if it means laying down lives. Andhra leaders take care of your region and we will manage Telangana).

The next poet, Shamsheer Kodangali of Mahbubnagar drew a lot of applause with his verses.

Kar rahe ho tum hukumat
Khali hai khazana
Tum karke barbad baithe Telangana
Tum deke Telangana, Kiran Chittoor chale jana

(You have emptied the coffers and destroyed Telangana. Now Kiran, hand over Telangana and leave for Chittoor).

Continuing in the same vein, another poet, Shafi Iqbal, further mesmerised the audience.

Tahzeeb wo sakhafat ka
Akhlaq wo murravat ka
Isaar wo shujaat ka
Markaz hai Telangana

(Telagana is the centre of culture, etiquette, valour and sacrifice).

The only woman poet, Latha Haya of Mumbai, regaled the audience with verses on different topics. She stole the mushaira with this couplet:

Wo zid wo shararat wo ladakpan chala gaya
Maa jab chali gayee mera bachpan chala gaya

(The mischief, stubbornness and childhood has gone when mother passed away).

The Custom Domain Server of Blogger.com has been down on 22 December, 2010. All the website that are hosted on Blogger.com with custom domain name like bloggerbuster.com, sonakshisihna.net and loveshayari.org and billion of others are not opening at all.

This problem gone too long, this server is down from too long, I have been waiting and watching when this will be up. Probably, the main reason behind this is, Winter Holidays, everyone is enjoying the holiday and server shut down at wrong time.

Maybe some engineer now need to come the server room to reboot them again, or whatever the problem to solve.

I think no one have notify blogger.com about this issue...

AROUND 35,000 people enjoyed a vibrant celebration of Asian music, dance and culture at the weekend.
The Manchester Mega Mela took place in Platt Fields Park.

More than 100 entertainers and artists representing Bangladesh, India, Nepal, Pakistan and Sri Lanka performed on three stages.

The main stage saw headline performances from Jazzy B and B21, while the Chai Serai Marquee provided a feast of South Asian arts.

A funfair, fashion show, workshops, stalls and delicious food were also draws.

Organiser Sajjab Hussain said: "It has been a beautiful event this year. The weather was fantastic on Saturday.

"The entertainment was excellent and everybody seems very happy."

First Rani caricatured Rakhi Sawant’s diction in Saawariya. Now she’s set to dance an item number with her. Both the girls are busy preparing for their dance number together in Yash Raj Film’s Dil Bole Hadippa!.

The item number, titled ‘Bhangra bistar’ is sung by Sunidhi Chauhan and Alisha Chinai. These singers are considered by YRF as their lucky mascots for giving them ‘Dhoom machale’ in Dhoom and ‘Kajrare’ in Bunty Aur Babli. Our source says, “Yash Raj’s two biggest hits in recent times have been the Dhoom films and Bunty Aur Babli. So the banner insisted on them singing ‘Bhangra bistar’ as they want to make the song a sure-fire hit.” The song is a rumbustious Punjabi track composed by Pritam.

Apparently, Rani spent weeks getting into shape before they began rehearsing for the song. She took it as a challenge to match steps with Bollywood’s original item girl. Our source adds, “As Rani is dressed like a man for the major part of the film, the idea was to get Rani to do that one sizzling feminine number to balance the gender bender. Just like Saira Banu did a ‘Thoda sa thehro’ in Victoria No. 203 where as was dressed as man, Rani has ‘Bhangra Bistar’ in Dil Bole Hadippa!.”

Jazzy B in Love Aaj Kal - Music Review

Love Aaj Kal, composed by Pritam, is an album where Pritam has left almost no stone unturned (except Atif) and half the album goes to Neeraj Sridhar. But, the results are not as could as one might have expected. Still, the album is worth listening to.

The album has total ten tracks and three of them are remix, to give a total of ten songs. Out of seven, Neeraj Sridhar gets to sing 3 songs and Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, KK and Mohit Chauhan get one song each. Sunidhi gets one solo number while sings one with Neeraj. And Jazzy B is there in one song with Neeraj.

The first song opens up with Jazzy B singing in a style that is less like himself and more like some 90's singer. Soon, when Neeraj comes in, you feel that Jazzy B takes in some freshness and the song probably wouldn't be as good if it had been Neeraj alone. In fact, I get a feeling like Neeraj is being used too much and if he keeps on singing the same type of songs, people may get bored of him soon. Jazzy B singing his version of a highly popular Pakistani song “Kadi Te hans Bol ve” by Madan Maddi. So first two songs are highly “inspired” songs it seems. in this song Neeraj joing Jazzy B to give some twist to the song. Both Jazzy B & Neeraj Sridhar teams up to give us another song worth listening.

The second song, Ajj Din Chadheya is some typical Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, with some new touches, that resemble more 'Teri ore' than his old numbers. The song, slow, and with not much experiments, is quite soothing. The lyrics of Irshad Kamil are good. No doubt, the song is one of the best in the album.

Chor Bazari is again sung by Neeraj Sridhar, and Sunidhi Chauhan. The song has the same freshness that you see in the trailer of the movie and expect from the movie. The lyrics of the song are interesting, realistic, lovable, and above all, mast. The music is good and foot-tapping, and the lyrics will probably help the song long last. Go for this one.

KK is one of the singers who must be looked out for in an album. Here too, with just one song, KK again makes his presence felt as he sings 'main wo hoon jo chahun wo paaun'. The song sounds like a stage performance and is one of the best songs of the album, beating most except one by Rahat.

The next number, the only 'female only' song, is sung by Sunidhi Chauhan, and is mixed with folk music, with chorus sounding like from a 'mahila sangeet' of North India. As always, Sunidhi has sung the song well and though I don't know how Imtiyaz and Saif plan to promote the song, I hope it can go well if promoted well.

The next on the soundtrack is what you have been listening during the theatrical trailer of the movie. Twist, the song that starts with the ever-so-popular 'Nagin' tune, almost runs on the same tune half the way and the tune keeps coming back. The song is sung mainly by Neeraj Sridhar and he's the only person with the credits but it seems Saif also has done his share of singing and the female voie is uncredited too. The song is not big for separate listening but it'll be great for backgrounds. And surely for baraats.

The last song, Ye Dooriyaan sung by Mohit Chauhan, is a good number too, but at some points it seems like Pritam is trying to make another Tum se hi rather than a new song, especially in the start. The song is slow and Mohit Chauhan, like always, sings it well. And the song should gain popularity, though not as much as Tum se hi.

Usher, Tameka Foster Raymond

With rumors of an impending divorce Grammy-winning and Diamond selling singer Usher Raymond is back in the thoughts and minds of those who might have abandoned him on "Here I Stand (2008)". While divorce news is never good when it comes down to families, in Usher's case two children under 5 years of age, you can't help but wonder if the marriage has had an effect on his forthcoming album "Monster".

Ironically Usher's most successful album to date (2004's Confessions) was released at the height of a breakup with TLC singer Rozanda 'Chili' Thomas, an alleged affair with now wife Tameka Foster Raymond (his former stylist) and dating rumors that pitted the singer with European sensations Jamelia and Aishia Brightwell. Yes, Usher's "Confessions" was in fact a solid album with well performing records like "Burn," "Yeah," "Caught Up," and the later released Alicia Keys assisted cut "My Boo" but the love affair or interest in Usher was also sparked by a mirage of rumors. Atop those rumors was the concept behind the album's title track "Confessions," a song about a man who has cheated and gotten the "chick on the side" pregnant. Knowing that this track and the concept of the album was interesting Usher played with the public on interviews, including a stop by BET's 106 & Park where he was asked if the song was related to his personal life. Of course Usher replied no and went on to say that friends and other parties he knew inspired the song and concept for the album.

Flashing forward a few months, Usher was spotted frolicking with a -then- unidentified woman in St. Barts. That woman turned out to be a married, then later, divorced Tameka Foster Raymond. Nearly two years later Usher tied the knot, allegedly unapproved by his mother/manager, and the rest is history.

Since the commercial disappointment of 2008s "Here I Stand" Usher has been spotted repeatedly without his wife and photographed without his wedding ring on numerous occasions. In late 2008, Tameka Raymond gave birth to their second child and nearly died due to complications with a cosmetic adjustment in Brazil in February. Despite him being by her side for these two periods, unidentified sources are piling in left and right telling magazines including PEOPLE and In Touch Weekly that the pair have separated for months. One source even claimed that Usher was "tired of how demanding she is". That same source went on to tell NY Daily News that "He always had to cater to her constant insecurities but now he’s ready to move on and take care of his kids.”

So will all of this, including stories about him "retiring" his mother and firing staff allegedly due to his wife, in addition to Mrs. Raymond's trip to Brazil for that cosmetic procedure, effect Usher's music ? Most important are fans in for a stellar album ?

It's no secret that artists, just like the fans that admire them, write and reflect on their lives. Music is after all a form of therapy as much as it is a way to rebel against external forces. Let's face it, some of the best music has come from personal experiences and troubling times. Recording artists like Eminem, Christina Aguilera (Stripped), Mary J Blige (My Life) and Whitney Houston (Just Whitney) have all taken their troubles to the studio, so why not Usher ?

If anything, there is definitely some madness to the title "Monster". More so, the album could be Usher's next round of "Confessions," except this time he might get personal enough to shed light on his marriage that sources tell PEOPLE has been on its way downhill for well over a year.

Producers on "Monster," slated for release this fall, including Pharell Williams (the Neptunes) are insinuating that fans will hear a new Usher when this album drops. For now we'll just have to wait and see what the man, previously billed as "Mr. Entertainment" brings to the table. After all, he has a lot of competition this fall -- not that it's wise or recommended to exploit your marriage and/or divorce... but it certainly gave Beyonce a boost last fall.

If you remember, Beyonce remained mum months after tying the knot with Jay-Z. Conveniently Beyonce covered several publications around the release period for "I Am... Sasha Fierce" .... discussing what.... yes, her ring, relationship with Jay-Z, wedding, family and how she feels about being a wife while saying pick up "I Am Sasha Fierce". Of course we still love Beyonce and she is playing the BET Awards on June 28.

According to PEOPLE magazine Usher is rumored to be filing for divorce next week.

Bohemia - The Punjabi Rapper: Biography, Family, Background, Music, Interests, Collaboration, Films and Bollywood. It's all about Bohemia.

He is the first of a kind. Rap is usually sung in English, even if the song is in Hindi, Punjabi or English itself. But Bohemia raps in Punjabi. No one’s done that before, and no follower — if any — has been noticed.

Bohemia’s real name — he does not hide it — is Roger David. What’s a Christian doing singing Punjabi rap? “I am from Punjab, where my great-grandfather converted from Sikhism to Christianity for some reason,” says Bohemia simply. “However in my house, the Granth Sahib and the Bible were both there, though I was raised as a Christian. As for me, I believe in God, but I am not religious.”

The term “Bohemia” suggests flouting traditional mores. And rap is all about personal angst or feelings. So what is Bohemia the man all about? “Well, I lost my mom when I was just 14 or 15, and I was quite a momma’s boy. That made me mad and I was kind of pushed into negative things. I have to thank God for music, for that’s what finally made me wake up and gave a reason to live. Dad played the harmonium and I learnt the keyboard.”

He goes on, “When we shifted to the U.S., I lived a strange life. I was virtually living at the Milan Recording Studios in Sacramento and sleeping there or in cars. Harjeet Mehndi, Daler Mehndi’s brother, and I would go perform at occasions like birthdays and marriages, where I would play a bit of keyboards. I also worked with Jazzy B and others. I was friends with Suresh Margoli, a tabla player, and when he passed away at a young age and was replaced by another tabla player just as easily as if he was a broken instrument, I was mad again. I told the studio engineer that I was through with being a keyboard player who could go into anonymity if he died tomorrow. I wanted to do something where I would stand out!”

Bohemia’s first album was “Vich Pardesan De” in 2002, which was about coming to a foreign land. Hip-hop was then limited to the underground, and he pioneered Punjabi rap. Then came “Pesa Nasha Pyar” (Money, Intoxication, Love) in 2006 in India, the first-ever full-length desi rap album to be released worldwide on a major music label (Universal).

Bohemia says that his emotions are first-hand and are about what has happened either to him or people very close to him. “My emotions tend to be on the edge of the extreme,” says Bohemia. “Like a high when I am feeling good about myself, or when I am very bitter, like when a person of color in America is forced to even take off his socks while being frisked or is continually bothered by cops. I have never written my rap from sheer imagination or from fairytale land.”

“Da Rap Star,” his new album, also has some regular songs, as Bohemia realizes that rap usually is just a part of a song. He is also vastly proud of India’s musical heritage, and is a great fan of Lata Mangeshkar, Mukesh, Kishore Kumar and Jagjit Singh in particular. “That’s the real gold to be treasured. It’s our heritage and I listen a lot to them,” he says.

“Da Rap Star,” he says, “is all me, without any samples used other than my tribute track to Malkit Singh. I am showing off how good a producer I am! I have used a lot of bass, beats and keyboards and I have even done the sequencing. My associate J. Hind has added the desi hip-hop. There are tracks that describe my journey. To sum up, it’s me saying, ‘I’m me! Look, I’m still here!’”

Pioneers like Malkit Singh and Rabbi Shergill are unhappy about the current Punjabi pop scenario. What is his take? “I am optimistic,” he replies. “Being proper or right is a vast statement. When a U.K.-born Sikh comes out with a bhangra-pop album, what is important to me is not that the Punjabi accent is not correct but that a U.K.-raised guy is actually singing in Punjabi.”

He describes his collaboration with Akshay Kumar in “Chandni Chowk to China” and “8x10 Tasveer” as a “fantasy-come-true.” “Dad loves Akshay Kumar for the edgy stuff that he does and when he was once watching his film he asked me, ‘Wouldn’t it be great if Akshay called you to do a song?’ I agreed, but asked him why it would happen? And it was bizarre that six weeks later Pooja Batra called up and stated that Akshay wanted to be in touch with me!”

The superstar invited Bohemia to the Torino Film Festival to the premiere of “Singh is Kinng” and they walked the red carpet together. “He told me that he always worked out to my music and we hopped into his limo and he told me that he needed a song for his film and gave me a brief. Having dedicated his life to popularize Sufi music, Ustad Puran Shah Koti is today held in deep respect by some of the best known names of the Punjabi music world.
Ustad Koti holds the distinction of having trained some of the popular Punjabi singers including Han Raj Hans, Jasbir Jassi and Master Salim. “Singing is god’s gift to me. My father Ranjan Das taught me singing. I took further training from Waqir Hussain `Sahab’ of Patiala. My wife gave me her support during bad times - when we had nothing to eat and no shelter,” says Puran Shah Koti, the sufi singer. He narrates how he moved to Shahkot in Jalandhar and took shelter in a small hut. It was there that he taught music to Jasbir Jassi and Hans Raj Hans.
He claims to have no knowledge of any ‘technical method’ of singing. He calls himself “a nomadic singer”. “They listened to me and then followed my way of singing. I guess that’s how they have learnt singing from me,” says the legendry singer Puran Shah Koti.
“I wish what we have learned from our forefathers could live forever because singing is eternal. I want to sing in the same way as I have sung my whole life. I have no interest in money and I don’t want any awards. But my only aim is to make the upcoming generation aware of Sufism, classical music, heritage, culture, food and singing,” says Puran Shah Koti.

Miss Pooja Amrinder Gill Geeta Zaildar - Show

The 5 feet tall*, Miss Pooja rocked the Atlanta Rialto Performing Arts Center with her famous duet song “Siti Maar Key” with a crowd full of approx 500 audiences. The concert became a family entertainment event organized by Punjabi Youth of Atlanta, headed by Mr. Maini and in co-ordination with DJ Shawn of Atlanta.
Mr. Talli the national promoter of the concert expresses his heartily thanks to the Punjabi community of Atlanta for brining the Punjabi cultural program to the city.
The three main artists performed on the stage were Miss Pooja, Amrinder Gill and Geeta Zaildar and an upcoming artist Kulwinder.
The show started with the bangra and giddha dance by Jasmine, the daughter of Mr. Laddi and then an opening song by Kulwinder who hails from Vancouver.
Then Geeta Zaildar took over the stage which started making the audience a little bore as you could see people asking short breaks during that time. Most of the time when Geeta Zaildar was solo on the stage really it did not even look like he was performing.
The hall enjoyed little songs from Amrinder Gill who had few good beats to keep the people cheering for him as his performance was balanced overall.
The entry of Miss Pooja, the moment for which every heart was waiting warmed up the crowd. “She is not tall at all, is she the same Miss Pooja”, said Kiran, the little girl who came to see Miss Pooja all the way. The songs were exciting and she kept the fans in the rhythm even while Geeta Zaildar joined her for the duets. Geeta Zaildar was not even noticeable while performing with Miss Pooja. Over all the Atlanta Punjabi music fans loved the concert and praised the efforts of Mr. Maini, who took a great initiative to bring the live concert to the city.

Bhangra is a lively form of folk music and dance that originates from Punjab. People traditionally performed Bhangra when celebrating the harvest. During Bhangra, people sing Punjabi Boliyaan lyrics, at least one person plays the the dhol drum, and other people may play the flute, dholak drum, or other musical instruments. While Bhangra began as a part of harvest festival celebrations, it eventually became a part of such diverse occasions as weddings and New Year celebrations. 'Raaz' was released in 2002 and made a splash at the box office. So naturally what did the Bhatt camp who produced the film decide to do? Release a sequel of course! 'Raaz 2 - the Mystery Continues' was released just this weekend and according to reports it too is responding well at the box office. So now what does the Bhatt camp do? Make a third part! That's right there is a 'Raaz 3' in the works! Mahesh and Mukesh Bhatt and with director Mohit Suri met recently to discuss the possibility along with Emraan Hashmi.

Emraan Hashmi himself confirmed the film recently saying, 'Yes we're on. The third part will be directed by Mohit. And I'll play the lead. The rest of the details are yet to be decided. The cast of the second 'Raaz' film was totally new. And I think I'm going to be the only actor common to 'Raaz' 2 and 3."

A little surprising as Emraan Hashmi was the one actor who was kind of left out of the publicity of the film since his co-stars Kangana Ranaut and Adhyayan Suman are a real life couple, but then again Emraan Hashmi is a Bhatt camp staple. Emraan Hashmi doesn't feel too left out though, as he admits he may have a small fan base, but they still cheer when he appears on the screen in the film.
Now with two hits under his belt, 'Jannat' and 'Raaz 2,' Emraan feels confident enough to start a family with his wife of two years. 'We're trying for a baby and we should be parents by next year. One is never prepared for fatherhood. And if I wait to be fully prepared it will never happen. But I'm getting into the mindset now.' Aww... how sweet!

UK-based Bhangra artist H-Dhami, who has won the hearts of music lovers across the world, is presently focusing on the music loving people in India. H-Dhami has a distinct form of blending western and Punjabi music is keen to promote his special style of Bhangra. He has arrived in India after performing in different parts of the world. Dhami's father Palvinder Dhami has been a legendary singer, having led the Bhangra band `HEERA. H-Dhami's tracks are exclusively written by Rishi Rich, a British Asian producer. Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif had a tough time on the sets of Rajkumar Santoshi’s Ajab Prem Ki Ghajab Kahani, which also stars Salman Khan in a cameo. Trouble started when Ranbir and Katrina found it difficult to perform a few complex dance steps by choreographer Ahmed for the song Follow me.

Both Ranbir and Katrina asked Ahmed to change the steps, but Ahmed stood his ground. Director Santoshi didn’t interfere. A source on the sets said, “While Ranbir was not getting a large part of his steps right, Katrina had trouble with a few steps given to her. Although Ranbir and Katrina put in a lot of effort, they failed to follow the instructions.”

“To be fair, the steps were not at all easy as the song is a fast one,” our source added.Ahmed confirmed the story and said, “I didn’t want to change a single move. Rap songs primarily have close-up shots but this song mostly has long shots.”

Ahmed isn’t the first choreographer to have differences with actors. Fortunately, after practice over three long days, Ranbir and Katrina eventually got their steps right. Ahmed said, “Finally, Ranbir and Katrina came out with flying colours. You will see the results on-screen

It may be almost five years since the release of Bhangra star Juggy D’s debut album, but fans are just as enamored with his music and hyped, energy filled performances. Juggy’s San Francisco Bay Area fans were treated to one of those awesome performances this weekend, as Upscaled Entertainment brought out Juggy in concert on January 16th at Avalon nightclub as part of a four date mini tour of the US in association with Blazin Beats!
I was there and let me tell you first hand, the crowd went nuts and everyone’s hands were in the air as Juggy took the stage. After his hospital stay in Australia, Juggy was feeling much better as he took over the stage with his sheer energy and signature dance moves. He was joined by dhol player Pree Mayal and performed a mix of tracks of his debut album, as well as a few new tracks that will be featured on his new album ‘Juggy D 2: Punjabi Rockstar.’ Speaking of a new album, everyone’s been anxiously awaiting its release. So I decided to find out the details on its release, find out what Juggy said during our chat below!
How was your performance and did you enjoy the San Francisco crowd?
They were good, it was nice. It’s good to perform here. We had a dhol player as well, and that added a bit more of a Desi element to the show, because you guys have quite a few Desis out here, you guys call them FOB’s (laughs) but you know! But you know they’re cool, they enjoyed the show, they had fun and it was nice.
All of your fans have been waiting for ‘Juggy D 2: Punjabi Rockstar.’ When is the album planned to be released?
This year, this year, for sure this year! I’ve been blessed enough to tour with the same album, you know this is my fifth year now coming up, 2009 and I released it in 2004. So I think I’m probably the first and only artist to ever have a reign on one album for five years! (smiles) You now the way I see it is we’re still getting booked, why turn it down? And that’s the basis of not being able to get in the studio and not being able to record my album, because I haven’t had time. I’ve been touring, I’ve been getting booked. Every time I come back, I’m like right I’m going to block off time, and they’re like Juggy okay, you’re going here you’re going there. And I’m like you know what? They’re playing, if you’re getting work why not. So my apologies to all the fans that have been waiting for it, you know, I’m waiting for it! I can’t wait to get it out, but I just haven’t had time to go into the studio and record it, but when I go back from this US tour I’ve booked off four weeks and all the tracks are ready and I know who I’m recording with, the collaborations and the producers. It’s not just Rishi [Rich] and Mentor on this one its Rishi, Mentor and a whole lot more, because Rishi and Mentor were the core of the first album and they’re still the core of the second album. So this year album’s definitely coming out! We’re hoping for mid this year.
You mentioned a collaboration with Miss Pooja while you were on stage and in the past you mentioned collaboration with Jazzy B, how is that going?
I said I wanted to work with Jazzy B. There’s some talks going on, I’ve added a couple of tracks for him as well. Me and Jazzy have a very good relationship, I’ve actually been a fan of his before I got into the industry because I’ve only been in the industry for six years, since 2002, Jazzy’s been around for a lot longer then that. So I’ve been a fan of his and he knows that, because as well as being of fan of his, I’ve got a lot of respect for him and he sends me a lot of love as well, he’s like an older brother. I call him Paaji Jazzy, you know we have a laugh and a joke and I have a lot of respect for him. I’ve always said to him, Paaji, I want to do a song with you and he said no problem, whenever you’re ready, you let me know. So fingers crossed, hopefully we’re going to do something soon, but we’re looking to do something together. He’s given me the go ahead so we just have to tie things up.
You mentioned other producers on this album, who are a few that you’re working with?
Its producer that I like, producers whose sounds I like. So it’s producers like Tigerstyle, Hunterz, DJ Vix, people like that. So it’s just the collaboration of people whose vibe I like.
So what are your future plans regarding album releases in countries other countries, such as the US?
Well you know I keep my options open, I’m just going to see what happens with that. My main focus is more Punjab and the India side. For me it’s the Bollywood scene and the India market. So I’m really looking at going towards the India direction and really basing myself in Bombay. So that’s my next move for when the next album comes out, I want to head over to Bombay and spend like six months out there. There’s a lot of work out there for me and over the years I’ve made some really strong connections, so there’s a lot I can do out there. Not just musically but within the film industry with all these natacks and everything, you know there’s a lot of little bits and bobs you can do. There’s a good living you can make out there, so I thought why not, that’s the next step.
So you mentioned Bollywood, any collaborations coming soon?
I’m actually doing the title song for Shilpa Shetty’s new film. That’s coming out later on this year. There’s all these projects that are coming out this year. So the name of the film is called, ‘Bee 2,’ it’s starring Shilpa, Bipasha [Basu] and Akshay [Kumar]. They’re shooting the film at the moment and we’re doing the title song for it.
So Juggy, all the ladies out there want to know, are you single or is there a special lady in your life?
Yes. I was married actually and I got separated a few years ago. So yeah, I’m flying the bachelor flag now and I’m good. You know I’m the market, let’s just put it that way.
So before we go Juggy, do you have anything to say to all your fans?
I just want to say big up to all the people who have supported me even when I’ve been off; I’ve had loads of fans sending their love and support. So a big shout out to everyone that’s been there for me and new album’s coming out this year. I won’t disappoint you. I still get people saying you know Juggy when’s the album coming out? For people to still be asking about it five years later, all I can say is thank you very much and hopefully I won’t disappoint you and you enjoy the album just as much as you enjoyed the first one.

The gardener heard the noise. When he saw the crow in the jug, he turned angry. He caught the crow. The gardener was a very aggressive person, he was thinking that how to punish this f****g crow? He tied one end of string with the leg of crow and other end tied on the branch of the apple tree about one yard higher than ground. He started to beat the crow on his f***ing ass, only thing crow can do while hanging upside-down is crying and screaming. The gardener was just beating and beating, the fool crow was screaming and screaming.

In college, Garima Parnami used to fantasise a lot about walking on the ramp, but she never thought this particular dream would come true. The model from Delhi who is said to be the hot new face of 2009.
Although the 24 year-old Garima Parnami began modeling almost two years ago and her first assignment was walking the ramp for designer Arjun Saluja. Year 2008 is most memorable for Garima Parnami. That's when she featured twice as the cover girl for a fashion magazine and also received rave reviews during fashion week.
"I think being on the Marie Claire cover, along with the work I did for Vogue did the trick. Suddenly, people began recognising me. At the next fashion week, I think I must have walked the ramp for almost all the good designers." Garima Parnami says.
Still, being chosen as the most promising female model by well known choreographers is special.
It means a lot to get this kind of appreciation from bigwigs in the industry, "says Garima Parnami candidly, adding, "When you start modeling, you are nobody and you have to work hard to prove yourself. Mumbai's film and Television industries wre never on her wish list till a cousin motivated her to try her luch. "He was working in Mumbai and was clued in to the entertainment scene. He said I was dark but my features were good and I had expression. So I came to Mumbai." Parul Chauhan says.
But that was just the beginning. For 10 months, Parul Chauhan didn't get work. In a fair and lovely world, people didn't want to take a risk with a dark actress. "There was a time when I didn't have money to eat and I decided to go back," Parul Chauhan says. But Rajan Shahi, the director of Bidaai, called her. "And he just signed me on. I couldn't believe it. He said if my face could talk though still pictures, I could do wonders on screen. Thankfully, all these awards prove that he was right."

Lehmber Hussainpuri is a popular bhangra musician. Lehmber first burst onto the mainstream bhangra scene through a collaboration with Dr. Zeus on the album entitled Unda The Influence. This album was a massive success with both traditional and new school bhangra fans with such hits as Aah Ni Kuriye, Mele Vich Jatt and Tin Cheeja. From there, Lehmber branched off, being featured on a countless number of DJ and mix albums. Other notable tracks include Gabroo Shakeen, Yaar, Daru and a notable appearance on the world-wide smash-hit DesiRock by Swami. An underground mixtape entitled The Don was later put out with several Lehmber tracks, many of which became instant hits.
An unofficial compilation entitled The Best of Lehmber Hussainpuri was also released around this time. His greatly anticipated debut album, Folk Attack, was a ten track album full of all bhangra songs without any intros, outros, or skits. This album was an immediate success and brought Lehmber to the top of the bhangra industry. Lehmber has also been acclaimed one of the best live performers in Bhangra today, and is one of the most demanded bhangra singers of the time. He has performed live at major events across the globe, including the Zee International Bhangra Competition (New York City), the Kings of Bhangra concert (San Jose/Fresno), and the Vancouver International Bhangra Competition. Lehmber has also made several appearances at various events across Europe and South Asia.

Parvathy Omanakuttan represented India in the 58th Miss World Final which was held at Sandton Convention Centre in Johannesburg, South Africa on 13 December, 2008 and finished First Runner Up. Kseniya Sukhinovia from Russia won the crown, which was unfair, only Parvathy Omanakuttan deserved to win the crown.
Parvathy Omanakuttan reply to the question, "What does being in South Africa mean to you?" was that it was like home to her. Parvathy Omanakuttan drew comparison to the fact the people of South Africa were extremely hospitable like Indians and also that both the nations have given such respected leaders like Nelson Mandela and Mahatma Gandhi who have influenced the lives of millions. Parvathy Omanakuttan added that both the nations shared such a wonderful diverse culture that made them both similar.
Parvathy Omanakuttan won 3rd place for the Miss World Top Model contest on 3rd December, 2008. Expectations and Comments before release:
Sukshinder Shinda Says, "In ‘Collaborations 2’, you will see different styles of music and different styles of singing. For example there is Qawwali on the album. You don’t normally see Qawwali on Bhangra albums. You have also got filmi style and traditional Bhangra. There is also some HipHop finesse with my man Don Revo and P. NOX from NYC. I think the album is for both the older generation and the younger generation."

Sukshinder Shinda is probably one of the most respected and talented bhangra music artists out there, his history in music has definitely given him his name and I don’t see why Sukshinder Shinda shouldn’t! “Collaborations” was one of his latest albums released hosting collaborations with various artists, such as Jazzy B, Gurdas Maan and Abrar Ul Haq.

Collaborations 2 is subject to be releasing early 2009 but with the bhangra industry not keeping release dates I would say some time in April would be an expected date.
In this new album Collaborations 2 you will be able to hear Sukshinder Shinda’s excellent music producing, this time round he’s got several new vocals from the likes of Shazia and Labh Janjhua.
